On Thursday, February 7, 2008, a lone gunman entered the Kirkwood Council chambers and killed a police officer, the Public Works Director, two City Council persons and wounded the Mayor. He also killed another police officer outside before entering the building. These are a few of the photographs from the days following that event. Funerals, processions, and gatherings.
